The exchange kicked off with a welcome dinner on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Edmonton, Canada, hosted by REACH Edmonton. REACH has been a central actor in Edmonton’s efforts to reduce violence and strengthen social cohesion and peace for fifteen years. Casper—a relatively new member of Peace in Our Cities—has recently begun implementing efforts to reduce and prevent violence and is looking to the Peace in Our Cities network to help inform its approach for safety and well-being across the city.
