Criteria for Membership
Peace in Our Cities membership comes with certain responsibilities, ensuring that each member enriches the network for all. Members are expected to:
- Commit to upholding human rights-based approaches to violence prevention and reduction.
- Develop individualized violence reduction plans in collaboration with the Peace in Our Cities secretariat.
- Share best practices through joint research initiatives with civil society organizations and local academic institutions.
- Participate in at least one public/advocacy event each year.
